What is Bakhoor Dan:

Bakhoor dan is a type of fragrant incense traditionally used in Middle Eastern and South Asian cultures. “”Bakhoor”” refers to wood chips soaked in fragrant oils, often mixed with other natural ingredients like resin, amber, musk, sandalwood, and essential oils. When burned, these chips release a pleasant aroma used to perfume homes, clothes, and hair.

 How Use of Bakhoor Dan:

1. Preparation:
   • Select the Bakhoor: Choose the type of bakhoor you want to burn. Different blends offer various scents and intensities.
   • Charcoal Preparation: Light a piece of charcoal using a lighter or matchstick. Ensure it’s fully ignited and turning grayish-white before use.
2. Burning the Bakhoor:
   • Place the Charcoal: Using tongs, place the hot charcoal in the Bakhoor Dan.
   • Add Bakhoor: Once the charcoal is ready, place a small piece of bakhoor on top of it. The bakhoor will begin to smolder and release fragrant smoke.
